Ain't no scales 'tween here & there anyways....and even if there were, they wouldn't be along the route I'm taking. -

Conveniently for us, the loaded direction scales were always closed. The returning empty direction were the ones open.

Why is everyone stuck on weight? Maybe I just don't want some guy with a bad attitude and a badge to back it up wasting my time and making my day worse than it already is for no reason at all. Maybe I don't feel like stopping for anything. Maybe it's none of your business why I'm asking whether the scale is open or not. Maybe you should turn your radio off if it bothers you that much.

OK two. Your truck is in such poor condition they will haul you out back for inspection and put you out of service before even beginning the inspection.
The reason for getting hauled in is the need to check for the truckers that do run overweight and running equipment that is not safe.

If public scales bother you so perhaps you should stay off public roads. Just a thought.
And yeah nothing like watching the games people play when paid by weight. We used to have some real slick truckers play games when they would bring our silage in. The ones that played games like light weighing when they were low on fuel, not weighing when told, or bringing their 400 lb plus brother in law except when told they were gonna light wiegh got one rate from us. The honest ones got a better one 8)
Used to watch them sweat at the gin's when the lines were long. Always laughed at the theories they convoluted to explain their actions. One or two tickets, the extra wear and tear, and added stress of concerning themselves about" What does that wide spot look like down there". Might be why a lot of them died rather young. -
awww heck weigh stations arent important....just get in the left lane and blow by em.....they wont mind....
