Lol im only 22. Deffinately have not had 10 yrs of work exp. Its only 3 yrs to attend school, the ten years Are for e xperienced truck vets. As long as you have a clean DMV record and have no dings on your criminal record, and have had a stable work history for the past 3 years. APPLY. I start august 28th. Doesnt hurt to call a recruiter! Good luck to you. From the posts i have read. Stay away from CRST AND CRE. some say SWIFT is another to stay away from others say its a good starter.

So, someone with no experience would only be required to provide proof of three years of experience? Am I missing something here? Do they just want three clean years of (non-work-related) driving? Just regular everyday driving? Just a clean DMV printout for the past three years? Thanks!

Students- 3 years driving OR non-driving job employment. ( no experience needed because you are applying as a student) like myself.
Drivers with CDL-10 years OR max, driving or non-driving job employment.

Also.. The DMV report is totally seperate from your "experience" the DMV report is to show you have not had an significant accidebts or outstanding reckless driving tickets. Experience only counts if you have experience behind the wheel of an 18 wheeler. You beed 3 years of stable work history i.e. Mcdonalds, walmart, target, etc..

Funny how outsiders see the schools worth from a parking lot first of all the parking lot is for backing only you have 2 weeks of class time and yard time(cones)straight backing, alley dock, parallel parking.

Then you go with a phase 1 trainer for a month come back re test(backing around obstacles) then more class tests then you go out with a phase II trainer for two more months then come back and take your final tests(classroom)(backing) so yeah it's not worth it:biggrin_2554: and it only cost 897.00 after discount with a December promotion(half price) not even close to 6k but you get out of it what you put into it.

@Woodys...Your experience is dictated by the perception of what the position has to offer. Just remember, you will train for a good 6-weeks at pay around $350-$400. After that then you gain experience and your pay follows. I have not worked for C.R. England but have five (5), yes five friends who went through their program and ALL of them left 3 months later for good reasons, as they were ready to hit the road.

Since then, I have researched that company and I make sure people avoid it!

CRE is deffinately bottom of the barrel, closely followed by CRST. (from my readings anyway)

To the OP - I may be wrong, but I believe you need to be at least 25 years old to drive interstate. At 21 tears old, you may only be able to drive intrastate
