Yep, everyone with credit issues is an irresponsible, bumbling idiot.bottomdumpin Thanks this.

Anyone can check your credit score if they have basic information about you. But why would they want to? If you could borrow to buy a truck you would. They offer you a lease and it is at 12% or more. No one with good credit and common sense would ever lease from a company. Get you a secured credit card and never use it. Your credit will improve. I know about these things. I am a Republican.
Flip Flops Thanks this. -
No,
most companies will NOT check your credit report. -
Wasnt going to bite, but what does your political orientation have to do with your credit. Isnt it Republicans and fighting two wars that has now made us debtors to China? And I am a Republican myself.CasinoGal Thanks this.

Divorce can have an effect on credit and truckers like divorces(maybe the wife likes them more).
CenutryClass Thanks this. -
Will old dominion check my credit score? If so what is the minimum score they will accept? Thanks in advance!

Go ahead, check my credit. Few things on my score because their reps pissed me off so I didn't reach in my pocket and pull out my money. They will get it eventually. But I hate when people are ducks when you're down and out.
Cash and carry is my motto. I've always paid cash.
This year I got a secured cc.
It's their for emergencies only. I buy one small item a month and then immediately pay for it. I have a nicer looking 3 digit score.
Some company don't like my credit score f them.
It's a game by the banksters I primarily choose not to play in. -
Fuel Tanker will check. Tanks of fuel are $$$$$. Make sure your not hurting to take a bribe to loose or let someone Rob you of a load of fuel.

As with any generalization there are exceptions but typically those with bad credit have money problems and those with money problems are more likely to cave into the temptations of stealing.
People who are irresponsible with money often are irresponsible in other aspects of their lives. This is not always the case people can get bad credit for a lot of different reasons. When you apply for a job the employer knows nothing about you and this is just another tool for them to gauge what type of person you are.
Let's pretend you are the employer. You have two canditates to choose from and every aspect of them is virtually identical except one has a horrible credit score and the other's is perfect. Which would you hire?
I know some great people with horrible credit but generally speaking those with good credit make better employees than those with bad credit because they typically have all aspects of their life in better control.
