Hillbilly take that bus schedule you have down. Thats all I had. Just make sure someone waits for you incase your driver was not as nice as mine. Also try calling 18007779100 say your a driver and get a dispacher out of west valley, I believe they can book gray hound tickets.

For the guy getting his license in advanced. My guess is that they will make you do the whole time in the school, since you have no experience, just the license. They may only charge you the refresher price though. Which use to be quite a bit cheaper than the full school. That is how they did mine. Even though I had the CDL A. Years of local driving experience. They do not count the local at all as experience. So I had to pay the refresher price, which use to be 2000.
The first week is the time they are working on getting the paper tests done for the learners. But they also watch allot of company safety videos. This is what they do not want you to miss.
You could get your learners or full CDL and you will be in the same boat from a training standpoint. The learners is kind of a pain though. Since you will have to get another one once at the school. Since it will not be good in another state. So not really worth it.

LakeErieHillbilly, just check back with them. Keep in mind they get thousands of calls a day for employment so sometimes they get a little distracted from what they are currently doing. Also your app may have been sent to someone else for review or what not, so I would just give them a little friendly reminder.

Just sent an email out to recruiter. Actually saw I lost a couple sent to me in the past in what I am to bring and such. Pretty much remember what I should have on me.
I wont be able to pick up the ticket (if there) til the day before since I am heading to Tennessee for a few days with my boy.
Once I do get to Utah where do I get drop off at and go from there. Also how do I get to there on Monday morning. Again lost some emails.
    Thanks!

Once you get to Utah, you will be part of a number of drivers there at the bus station. Someone will have to call for the central shuttle van and you will get a ride to the terminal. You will stay there in the "jail cells" for the first week and just walk up to the main building.

Why can I never get a meet load that doesn't suck? On a related note who drops a trailer with the ABS light on, tandems that don't slide, and brakes that don't work?

All meat loads suck as I have found out over the last couple years . Hell half or better of centrals "drivers" drop trailers like that. I picked one up in Rochelle IL. The other night that had a blown out tire on it and it was preloaded! Now that's a sign of a sorry ### individual ! Lol.

I've got a friend who LIKES meat loads. I really dont get it. waste 10 hours of my time, overload the trl, and have me stranded in a place with no food, no showers, and no ac. Whats to like?

as far as the dropped trl, thats just an utter lack of professionalism.
