    That's from when big hood meant big engine. 3408, KT1150, 12v71. Big engines that needed lots of cooling. The older w9s really had some massive hoods. My 73's hood pull is eye level with me and I'm 6'2. I was by an 85 w900b the other day and the bottom of the hood pull was at the top of my head, the short.guys couldnt rear it and had to lift at fenders.

    This truck looks awfully familar to me as one I see parked near Decatur, AL from time to time on trips through there.

    Yeah, if a person wasn't looking they'd never pay it any mind. It's just that as I'm riding I tend to notice trucks wherever they might be parked, especially non mega carrier trucks. That one is unique and the covered wagon it was hooked to I just knew I had seen it SOMEWHERE. Small world, nice ride.. Kinda partial to T6's. :)
