Isnt it disgusting at how some of these people here in ND feel completely fine with charging 1500 to 6500 per month for a ###### hole apartment or just a room? In most cases you have to share a bathroom and kitchen? WTF!!!! everyday I am losing faith in the human race. The best one is that there are a bunch of scammers on CL and other forums trying to bilk hard earned money from these workers who came here to bust their ##### and get out of their debts or because they had no work where they are from. WTH is happening to us! Oh, and the man camps are being all bought up by the oill companies so your S out of luck there too... Hopefully in the winter when droves of people haul butt outta here. I can find a place to live and feel its a fair deal... I am just disgusted...
UPDATE: Just spoke with Pwr FZuels. They are no longer hiring.

Before my hubby started out in No Dak, he applied online and made lots of phone calls. The company flew him out on their dime. He's flown out a few times on his own dime of course. But I suggest that you apply online first and get some answers before you go out there. I think you might need more then 4 days. Sometimes the whole hiring process takes about 1-2 weeks alone. You apply one day and two days later they want you to come back and do a drug test, then a few days later physical, a few days after that drive test, later on they'll put you through some classes to get your proper certifications to work certain sites. Some companies move faster then others. But I'm pretty sure you'll need more then 4 days.

Been up here 6 months now. The only thing I know for sure is that if it were easy work, everybody would be doing it.

Hi there looks like there are a couple of you that are looking for work. I am looking for a couple drivers right now and have more work then we can handle. We provide housing as well as very competitive wages. Please send me an email at rnilsson3@hotmail.com if you are interested.

If you leave before your contract is up then will you own any money?? If the dollar amount owed is say around $3,000. and you are getting .32 per mile then I say, leave your job now!!! You wil be able to pay off your debt in 2 months if not sooner!! The big problems you will face are housing and having savings for living while you wait on the job offers!! Its not uncommon to wait a 2 weeks to a month for work!! Pay attention to what people are posting here closely!! They are offering 1st hand knowledge as to what is going on up there!! It's a big jump from OTR but you got some big boy pants on, right?? No risk, no reward!!

    gdyupgal and leadfoot916 Thank this.
