I'm going to be picking up a 9.5 wide load in MO and headed down 44. I'm pretty sure I can't run across 44 Turnpike in OK. So what is the best route to get me onto 40 in OKC ???
Oversize routing thru Oklahoma???

just ran9 6 through the i-70 stretch through topeka

I sure hope so, that will make this trip a lot easier.

i think okc might be an issue however

It says that 9'6" is max width in all tollways in OK. Not sure about OKC but I'm sure they will route me around on some crazy roads, they always do.

here is the link i was looking at -
like he says, cash booth you can run i-44 at 9' 6" okc shouldnt be a problem either at 9'6''

you don't get to suggest routes, you give them entry and exit points and their super magic computer routes you. Make sure the permit service knows you want to use the turnpikes. Check out restrictions here http://www.dps.state.ok.us/swp/swpconstruction.pdf

I was just there the other day. I am pretty sure that the turnpike signs said max width was 8'6". Just be careful. To take the proper route. The OHP is everywhere on the turnpike especially in OKC
