Decent. Average training. You get college credit for degree.

I graduated from there in 2010. I thought it was a good program. 7 wks is better than those 3 wk programs. The class size is usually 10 people or less. You get alot of practice time on the pad, straight backing, offset backing, paralell parking, alley docking. Seat time on the road depends on class size, but you will get enough to make you feel comfortable with the trucks they use. The instructors know what they are talking about and dont just push you through the system so you get youre license. If you need more practice time oyu get it. Overall it was a great experience and I met some great friends there.

Way above average traing.
When you leave there,
you can pass any road test these companies give. -
Compared to mill schools, yes. Better than average. Community college style schools, average, but all community college training will beat mill schools.
Mine in 98 was community college with added program of business laws for those that might become owner ops. It also taught some general maintenance. It was 13 weeks long and worth every penny. Mill schools, waste of money for you to be taken advantage of. -
In your shoes, I would go there over 90%+ of other schools.

Bradford Union Vo-Tech in Starke is probably the best around if than is an option for you. You will leave that school with some REAL seat time OTR as they deliver food to the prisons in Florida, or at least they did years ago. Best of luck to you. Then the next thing I would recommend is to get the hedoublehockeysticks out of Florida for good driving jobs, until you get some experience. NO trucking companies like to come to Florida. Best of luck to you.
CasperFL Thanks this.
