Good! these companies want to turn up the heat, want to double our loads, and then ask to do it in an unrealistic time, too bad!

I wouldn't worry, did you watch what happened with USF when they tried to get nasty with an Illinois barn? Picket "extensions" went up at random barns, and since every contract always has "no crossing picket line" language, none of the drivers moved, and management had to EAT IT!

I wouldn't be suprized if thats what they start doing with sysco, as well. The company will learn, it will just take punching them in the wallet to make them realize they are already a billion dollar profit company, why #### with a good thing!

us foods seems decent=each hour gets the pay. Past co workers went there for this.

Both are about the same. Sysco is bigger. Both are union. Pay about the same. Us Foods pallets are unorganized though cause it cuts cost in warehouse, lots of digging. Sysco loads are organized but you do some digging. If you like unions these are the places to go.

    That's funny.

US Foods and Sysco both have a mix of Union and Non-Union yards. As for pallets being unorganized, Sysco does have the same issue as every other foodservice company. Crappy loaded and unorganized pallets. My last company had that problem, the company I am with now has the problem, all of them do.

I thought all Syco was union. Now you mention it, your right there are non union in US Foods. I worked for Union Us Foods. Our pallets by far the worst. We had recycles from other companies that would be baffled how unorganized our pallets were. Reason they want to do more cases, more money, but you can't with the amount of sifting and digging so they get fustrated. My buddy worked for Coremark, Mclane, Southwest traders, and US foods. He said US was f'd up compared to others. Mclane he said if one box was in the wrong spot heads would roll. That's why they bust 48" solo daily in my area.

    #### thats good money. im working for an agency that hops u around from job to job and they want to pay 205 a day to do pfg in elizabeth loads multiple stops. dosent seem like enough to me to be backing into mom and pop restraunts all day luggn them cases around. but for 1400 a week it sounds more then fair. #### most jobs in jersey are paying 17-19 an hour. pay seems to be going down. i did apply for the yard jockey position in perth amboy nj us foods. i have expinence in that and i rather not try to become a route driver and get stuck with nyc runs.
