Nah no problem, I appreciate the input, It may be different in other states but here in Virginia its the same cost regardless of the number of endorsements you have so if I have to pay for one I may as well try for them all.

Just a quick question for you guys,
How many miles per week are you running with vans, and what is your take home pay. I think I'm going to go with Roehl once I pass my CDL road test in SEP. Thanks

Nick, sorry I have not started there yet so I cant be of much help...I know they try to get you 2300-2600 miles a week but it seems to be hit and miss...I think it seems to depend on how good your Fleet Manager (FM) is.

Took my CDL Tests today for my learners and passed all endorsements with flying colors!

I run 11/3 and I get 2350 - 2800 miles per week. Sometimes I get more, very rarely do I get less. Pay depends on what Roehl starts new drivers at. I don't know what that is. It might be around .30 cpm, but you would have to talk to a recruiter about that.

    Viper,
Hey I appreciate that driver. On their pre reqs they say they want you to show up with your hazmat when you come in to orientation. Is that something I gotta get? And, is that 11/3 pretty accurate as far as out/home time?

Skyviper73, Thanks for posting that. I just started CDL school, have Hazmat, TWIC and passport, want to drive flatbeds and now just deciding on Roehl or Maverick. Recruiter said .33cpm for flats. How are the benefits?

Cost should not be your only determining factor, Roehl offers some of the best training in the industry. Your question should be is it worth it to you to pay the up front costs for quality training. For me that answer was yes. Do your own research and make your own decision, I did a lot of research on the trucking truth. Com

I agree with that completely. Planning on Roehl myself thanks to my research and what I consider the overall best choice for me. Hopefully you can do the same Ken7005, best of luck.
