truckers were known as the "last american cowboys", and as a result, and through "in-breeding", they circle the lot as if to gather the wagons in a circle and to protect the herd of cattle from rustlers....:biggrin_25522:

I cruze the lot because I am cool and I want to let all of the poor commoners see just what cool really is . I also look to see if I know anyone in the lot so I can grace them with my coolness or if I get to convert another lucky person into my circle of cool .......LMAO

Wow, MN what's happened to you? Back when you were a company driver, you were quite helpful, polite and informative when you posted. Since beginning the process of getting into your own truck, you appear to have become somewhat bitter and it's definitely reflected in your posts. Too much stress for you to handle, maybe?

Most of your posts windsmith deal with putting other people down. Putting video up of other people doing stuff that you feel (and some justifiable) is wrong or dangerous.

Have you bothered to ask some of these vultures WHY they might be circling?

The amount of posts that are constantly asking the same questions repeatedly where a simple search of the forum would yield tons of accurate and wonderful information is nauseating to say the least.

The amount of dis-information is as well and when people speak out to correct it, is rather, "WTF?" when they are told to ####. Especially when mods step in when a person is attacked and has to put up with name calling and then receives an infraction for something they didn't even do.

Call me bitter all you want. But your posts are part of the problem.

What was your real purpose of putting this up? Just like all your videos that show you screw up as much as the person you are trying to present in the video?

They are circling the lot waiting for their co-driver to come out with the burger and fries to go. It's easier to circle, than to park. . .:biggrin_25523:

There were a lot of really valid and legitimate answers there, and some really hilarious ones too. :D

I think, the repeated circling is actually several of those reasons being ticked off by the driver mentally as he circles. First is the ease of getting in without taking anything out, and this is contingent on checking out how the other trucks are parked...(be honest, some are horrible), then checking out the angle of the space (my personal, like head above feet too), location and surrounding noisemakers etc.

So basically they're doing a check off list of all those things and figuring out how to attack the spot whether that be reversing direction to avoid obstacles, or blind-side avoidance.

I usually get myself a spot even late at night, because there is ALWAYS one spot that someone didn't want to have to GOAL to park there because it was blind-side with a high difficulty level to get into even driver side. I still remember doing one at the Flying J in Indianapolis. Sign was there and tight blind-side. After I was done, driver came on the CB and said, "got to hand it to you driver, 15 trucks avoided parking there".

As a matter of fact, one of the one's I couldn't believe I got in was right there at the Candler (Asheville, NC) TA. Only spot left, 5 trucks went by it. I had to GOAL 10 times dog tired. Had to wake one driver that was parked right in front of where I was trying to get, because he wasn't in a parking space...and had to ask him to just move his truck a little so I didn't pop him, very tight. He didn't have a problem with it... got it in and I swear, God was watching over me. :D

It was so tight, no one could fit in between the trailers....they were going to have to pull out to do Pre-trips. :D Had to stop and park there so I wasn't like the guy I had asked to move, in someone's way in the driving/exit lane. (I try to be considerate) :D
