Question For The Truckers Report Forum Folks

Generally, I'm not in favor of adding a new sub-forum if the topic is already fully covered by the parent forum. For example, we have sub-forums for each of the major semi truck manufacturers, but we still have many users starting threads about their trucks in the general Eighteen Wheeler forum, even though they could have gone with the more specific forum. That's a pretty good sign that adding those truck sub-forums wasn't necessary.

Adding new forums for engines adds a whole extra layer for users to sort through, and I think the complexity outweighs the benefits.

That said, I'm not deaf to feedback. I'll create new sub-forums if there is overwhelming demand for them, but I'd ask our folks in here to consider whether they'd browse an engine sub-forum on a daily basis.
