-- $$ = $479 + Shipping
seriously I would crack a joke about lawyers & $ or something but at 479 to get something maybe I better go rest as I am going to clean copper @ 5:00 AM so my boss can have some cash .....
will have to collect Red Wing Pecos Boots & Shop for safety glasses on Google + fix several major issues with the camper shell and get a new 80-amp alternator to pull this stuff plus have to replace the A/C compressor so as many posts on brands & models I can get is really needed - right at the moment I am using a Coleman 5-day ice chest plus two 5-gallon Igloo water-tanks ("coolers")
for where I am going, I can eat raw-beef [ though wild-hog is much tastier ] ..... packing refrigeration may not solve the heat problem but I pack ice onto the skull & arms to cool-down so any functional ice chest info -->> I am begging for it
still have not decided on any brand for coffee-pot, perhaps Kitchen Aid 10 Cup Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker with Removable Water Tank, 1-4 Cup Brew Cycle, and Pause and Serve Feature or maybe HOBART makes something I could consider
HEB Ole brand coffee ~ Houston Blend (GROUND)
House label / brand is better in my opinion, post away folks ~ none of the info will be wasted and for what it is worth --->> EVERYONE ALWAYS USE FILTERED WATER .... I worked in water-treatment plants, they do no such thing .....
filter all water or buy it filtered

I used to drive a volvo 780 and was lucky enuogh that it had a built in fridge/freezer and inverter. I rarely went in a truck stop and sat down to eat because I had a microwave, foreman grill, crock pot and also a 2 burner camp stove. As far as using the camp stove in the truck and fumes I can't say because I would do that kind of cooking outside the truck on a small table I made up for that reason. And you are so right about truck stops charging us so much more for what we need. Thanks to Wal Mart for allowing trucks to park on most of their lots !

I use a fridge (of course), get me some meat and hotdogs and stuff like that, and i take the propane stove we got for camping and cook in it. i guess it goes without saying i don't cook in the truck...

a crock pot is an awsome cooking tool for a rig. a pot of beans, onion, bacon, garlic and your favorite spices go a long way and you cant get cheaper than that. Throw pasta into your leftovers with a can of chicken broth. it will feed you all week.

It's great. All the things we can cook on the truck. It's limit is really up to our imagination.
My big issue is CLEAN UP. I like things clean and I will not bring my cookware or utensils into a truck stop bathroom for running water.
Any thoughs on this? -
Small plastic bucket, a gallon of water, some dishsoap and paper towels usually does the trick. Wipe everything with paper towels to get rid of grease, get a paper towel wet and apply the dishsoap. The usual method works well. After a few attempts you shouldn't need much water to do a great job. Most of the time I just use an electric skillet, it becomes the "wash basin" for everything else, and it gets done last.Hegemeister Thanks this.

soap is un-explained source of G.I. distress, wash all the towels or whatever cotton cloth is used such as dish-towels and clean with clear-water rinse followed by dry-cloth wipe then place that in plastic bag until laundry can be done, I live this way so I know what I am talking about

Try an adequate rinse. Does wonders.
...or you can join the crowd that thinks cleaning cooking utensils with "Windex" is a good idea.nicholas_jordan Thanks this. -
I would crack a joke but it would cause me to be banned, speaking of which I do not use Ban Roll-On deodorant
