that actually did happen just the other night at the T/A. a driver was at the fuel island, as i was. his co-driver jumped pout, then the truck moved away, it went around the fuel island, and headed for the exit.

i thought at first, "oh well another co-driver needing a ride home, he just got scammed to go in the store and buy something"...

buy nah..the other driver actually stopped....

That works when they give you enough time to get to where you got to go... a lot of times you have eight hours to drive 7 hours and 50 minutes for a JIT delivery.

Also to answer the OP, I usually do not circle the lot but there were a couple of times when the small lot was totally packed and when I found a spot, I was too far to the right to get in and another truck is behind me so I had to come back around to get to the left to have room to squeeze in.

    CAXPT Thanks this.

Actually Flatced you have a point there! If it were wintertime it would actually be beneficial to do a few cool down laps so that when you park you don't have water in your brakes and also so that your tires don't melt the ice where you park causing you to get stuck the next morning. Especially if it isn't a paved parking lot. You will melt right through the ice and play hell gettin out with your tires securely down in the depths of the parking lot mud!

Well, you can only do what you are capable of doing. If you are on that hot of a load and they want you to get it there before what can be done legally, then well, you need to tell them that you need time added to your appointment. There's no other alternative. If they don't wanna work somethin' out then you tell them, this is when it will be there.

    AfterShock and CAXPT Thank this.

I didn't embed it because he's got seven videos up and you can learn a lot from them....

Both in who he's calling out and also in what he does wrong himself.

They get some rather interesting comments in all the threads he's started with them all.
