another one bites the dust, Savoy, NM travel center

near Deming is now a Petro.. I'll miss those green chili burritos.

 

When did that happen? The last time I passed by it was still the Savoy travel center.

 

what is the deal?? they just remodelled that place.

 

they remodeled the detrioter and took that over too

 

I was there last Friday getting a scale ticket. I overheard that they became a "Flying J" two weeks prior.

I like how they have quick parking for trucks getting a scale ticket just past the fuel island. Never seen parking marked just for that purpose.

might be a pilot but it was taken over were putting in new pumps a month ago remodeling the inside

heard this morning in trucking news on sirius 106 (trucking channel)

 

Pilot and TA/petro are taking over the industry and putting out all the great mom & pop places...it's a sad day to see all these places disappear like this...
