I got mine in my driver side tool box. It's not too bad keeping it under the bunk...just gotta clean it off before you store it...or at least frequently. Usually, I'll let it sit outside for about an hour after I cook, to let it cool down, then clean the grill and store it away.
So I parked at the far quiet end of the truckstop.....

that makes sense i was thinking a small plastic bin to put it in or something
VisionLogistics Thanks this. -
That could work. I'm going to be getting a new truck within the month..I'm in a Century now, getting a KW...I'll have to find a place to put it in there. My side box will be used for the straps again (i currently have them store snugly on my fuel tanks, 8 per side
).

ok my bad , sorry , when grill my mind goes too charcoal , not gas, when i was in cooking in the truck, the TA had those stoves with a can pressurized gas can's , those were spendy ,the cans were, not the one burner stove , i don't think they even sell em anymore, so i like too cook in the truck, i got pretty crafty too putting chicken breast in alum foil wrapped tight let sit on exhaust manifold for 30 min's or when inside temp hit 160 on the chicken while truck was idling anyway, thing's like that.
VisionLogistics and NWMAXI Thank this. -
I would much rather a charcoal grill, but yeah, that's just ridiculous when it comes to time.

I parked at the far quiet end of the truckstop.... And an elderly woman walked over to my truck and said loudly over the refer running next to me, hey shugaa, my names daisy and i aint no cop, then preceded to flash me, lol... Lifes a ditch, if the whole back was open move to another spot... Peace
Noggin Thanks this. -
sucks that the OP had that happen, sure the driver of the reefer just wasnt paying attention. Ive only had one or two occasions where a truck idling next to me was too loud. i just put my head on the other side of the bunk, problem solved.

When its 50deg outside with a nice breeze outside and you need to idle your truck to stay comfortable, that means you have a weight problem and your over heating.
scooter123 Thanks this.
