Where does this nonsense come from? Stuff like this is why I don't even turn my CB on anymore. Unbelievable!

500 trucks would put this so called "US Logistics" into the top 5% of companies in terms of size. You wouldn't drive 20 miles without seeing one. I've never seen a "US Logistics" truck.

It comes from half-truths and other nonsense. Celadon did acquire Hiner 2 months ago and did let go of almost all their drivers, but Hiner had nowhere near 500 trucks.

I got it from a guy in a cab in Laredo today who claimed to be one of their drivers and was taking the taxi home after the driver dropped me off at the truck movers yard. He sure didnt look too #### happy to me....I may have the name of the company mixed up though...i shall do more research.

Actually they tried to purchase a good size portion of USA Trucking's stock..but something fell through or it was going to take the feds approval...I read it here on the forum someplace...USA isn't on the best financial footing after the great recession. Too much debt and overhead plus too low freight rates.

SuperSB,Wilton NY has a huge Target DC, but beware of the traffic this weekend at the Saratoga Race course. Stay on I87 from Albany. Don't take route 50 or route 9 as you will be in bad traffic today before or after the race. Don't take the back roads from Rotterdam. Drive down to Albany then up I-87 to exit 16 of I-87 let us know how it went and use OTB to place your bets:)

I'm also off to Coryland....pick up a 2-stopper in OH. Stop in Randolph, MA and finals in Pawtucket on Monday.

...just glad to be the heck outta PA. Never seen so many road construction projects going on at the same time in my life.

Pawtucket RI? I haven't been in RI in forever.

So how's the new ride treating you? Feel better to be in a truck you can sleep in w/o wondering if you'll wake up in a pool of sweat?

I was gona run NY67 off the Thruway over to I87 then up. If I remember right, there is a decent truck stop at the same exit as the Target D/C.
