You spend more time in Hesperia than I do and I live right there. Good to hear it's almost done though. Have you guys been getting decent miles? I heard the trainer teams hadn't been running all that great lately.
First check engine light with the new truck just now. Lights in the bunk won't work since it came on. I know the fuse box under the bunk has a broken lid so thinking the rain we just hit got in there.

Well I graduated to my own truck about 2 weeks ago, they've been running my tail off ever since.
Finally made it back to SLC only because I had an interview with HR for the recently vacated DM position.. *Crossing Fingers!*
yeah my trainer lives in Hesperia so he only really takes the SLC>SoCal routes so he can get home every couple of days.
Miles.. we were running OK miles, not like if you were to run back east.. but we never sat idle, there is always something coming from socal or produce from the middle.
First break I had was in no-where wyoming.. i noticed my seat getting lower and lower so I went to add pressure and I slammed to the ground. Crap.. checked my gauges and I barely had 70lbs in there.. throttled down and used my engine brakes and a few california stops to get into a TS without actually using my brakes. Did a static brake test to see if it was my tanks leaking.. nope it held pressure but as soon as I let up POP out came my button.. I could hear the compressor and a huge air leak so I knew it must be between the compressor and the tanks because they weren't filling back up. Anyway.. had to sit a day and a half waiting for the part, they swapped out my meat load for a Hershey load with a bigger time allowance.
anyway.. that was the first time since I started with pride that I've actually had a solid 8hrs sleep. Even though we technically get a "10". it's more like a 5 with everything that wakes you up.. if it isn't the Star Trek Doorbell chime on the DriverTech it's something at the truck stop. -
That's pretty funny. I never put together that was the same sound from Star Trek. Best thing to do is mute it when you go to sleep. I always do. What year truck did you get?
We just got out truck 28 days ago with 22 miles on it and already put 25,000 on it. -
I got a '10 that I think used to be a local truck.. it had over 40 drivers assigned to it. It's pretty used and abused and has 200k on the clock.

I played that video for my co-driver while we were in the truck but didn't tell him what it was about. He thought it was the DriverTech and was trying to figure out why it wouldn't shut up. Gave him a good laugh when he realized it was the video and that's where they got the sound from.

Why does the picture of the truck on the drivers tab show a truck with an apu onit?
