Its been a year in the making, but I officially leave for Roehl's orientation tomorrow. I have been nervous before, surviving through three college degrees and working in various fields, but boy oh boy am I nervous. I am just venting not much of a question. Hope I successfully complete orientation and pray I get a normal roommate and if I make it to the road portion of the training I hope I do not get a pig who can care less about training. If anyone else has read the story of the Werner trainer who crapped in himself on here, but its the first thought that comes to mind.

Just relax.....wish I would have done the same when I first started. Dont let that piece of s!!! Geo metro tailgating you get you all worked up. It is normal to be nervous but dont worry it will pass shortly. Just pay lots off attention and have a good attitude. Good luck driver.

Good luck. I know what you mean. I've been waking up the last few nights and having trouble falling back asleep. Orientation is looming large on my horizon as well. But considering that neither you nor me is slated for Werner, the odds of getting a slob like the one on the classic Werner thread is slim.

Don't sweat it, and even if you do screw up. Which I'm sure you wont, there is always Werner, Swift and Prime who'll take anyone as long as they have a heartbeat! Good luck!

Welcome to the world of trucking! You will do fine, just be confident in yourself for your own sake. 10's of thousands have gone before you and have done it, you can too! Good luck with your future trainer.

    Nydiation Thanks this.

A friend of mine of twenty years or better just completed the Roehl flatbed training and is now solo. CDLschoolgrad. You may see him post on the Roehl page. If you so tell him I said Hi.

You can leave Prime off that. We have standards. Many people get sent home for various reasons.
