    I see so many flags attached improperly.....dirty.....torn....needing to be replaced.....As a veteran...I'm proud of my flag. I hate nothing worse than seeing it displayed improperly or not taken care of. Men and women died for that flag.....so these later generations can do anything they want to it. It sickens me.

    i agree with steve......way to many that do not know or understand flag ettiqite (sp)

    but just so you know i had my army id card in the window all day and let a disabled vet merge in front of me to exit

    wanna know the one thing i didnt like about this holiday? ok ill tell ya
    being told i need to be ready to march in a 3 hour parade with full battle rattle.......man do i ever miss active army in california

    i always loved the base commander change in comond cerimonies....120 degrees...7,000 soldiers all standing on the helicopter tar-mac....for a full day of speechs, pass and review, and believe me the medics were never bored
