My Experience as a Line Haul Driver

lets see if the numbers add up, born in 1979, 33 years old, 15 years driving, over 2 million miles , thats trucker steve.

pretty much a load of bull. and if AT thinks this guy is some kind of trucker to look up to, he has problems.

it is amazing that dumb a's like that are out on the road. i know his folks have to be proud of how he turned out.

 

LOL - I can tell you honestly that when production companies are considering doing a show on "trucking" I'm the first one they call. I have passed on:

ICE ROAD TRUCKERS (tho I put MAYA on)
DEADLYIST ROADS
TruckSTOP MO ( I was a consultant on locations for this show)
ShippingWARS
ROAD EATS (put on big cat, and TEXOMATIC)
Worlds toughest truckersq
And maybe 50 more that didn't make it past a pilot episode!

The only show in the trucking niche' I have not had been part of in at least some fashion (casting or as talent ) is American Trucker.
I have worked with:

Original productions
Psg films
Dragonfly productions
Story council
Hoff productions

And several others.


They have all told me "WILL MAKE YOU FAMOUS" as if that is some selling point I tell them "to my kids I am already" and to me that is all that matters.
I'm no legend in my own mind and if I desired to BE FAMOUS WITH A TV SHOW I could have had that a long time ago!

 

Man just judging from that video flatbed linked I want to be just like trucker steve hes so cool!

 

The reason for the complaints is real simple. Their are TROLLS on the internet, who's mission in life to to attempt to make everyone around them as miserable as they are. My Name, Who I'm employed by my unit number ETC are easily obtained by watching any of my videos. The complaints are horrible attempts from trolls to try and tarnish myself and my credibility. My company ignores these phone calls because their smart enough to realize I can not be in 2 place at the same time, Their also aware of my dedication to professionalism and my safety record reflects that as well..

I didn't mean to offend you or anyone else. I have made some videos in a American Humorist Style to show those who have this so called "image" of what they expect a trucker to be, is silly. (most people who watch my stuff are non drivers) Who realize after watching my content that hey my so called "image" of what I thought trucker drivers are all about really is SILLY.

In the same breath I show a very real side of what this is all about. Sadly their are some drivers who see one video (who must believe everything the see on tv or the internet is real ) and pass judgement on me (it is a video dude, lighten up!). Those who have watched a few videos know I have good intentions.

Ugh, I don't care much for the videos but I do feel sorry for Steve and the loss of his son, that's a pain I could only imagine...
