I don't think he did.... the OP was just pointing out that a good L/P is when you get to pick what truck you want and accessories, etc.

I thought the ideal truck would be.... Set of train horns Texas square bumper 300 chicken lights so those local yockLes would know not to screw with you. 20 in slash cut stacks and a peaked and tuned radio so someone 50miles away would know you were commin. Oh and one of those fancy echo mikes.

I'm always amused by all of this magical lease agreement stuff because in the auto business you have to have "gold balls" credit to even be considered for a car lease and yet when it comes to hooking up with a lease agreement through a carrier, all pof a sudden, it's an EZ qualifier, no DP and nonsense like that! I remember quizzing a Prime driver over his lease and I nearly fell of the dock when he told me how much he was paying a week for his truck. It was as much as I'm paying a MONTH on mine now....YIKES!!
You have to surmise, by and large that a L/P program is for the poor souls who are either unfavorably leveraged in life at home or their credit history/ fico score is a disaster area. Having a fico of 500 ain't gonna cut it in this world, unless you can come up with a significant DP. Personally, IMHO I would steer clear of L/P and have the patience to clean up your credit before taking the plunge to buy your own rig. Get yourself a good relationship with a bank. That wouldn't hurt and their rates are gonna be a lot less.
