There for a minute I thought I was readin' another C.R. England thread.
Seems Gulick runs their operation the same way.
What baffles me is, how does someone who's been Big truck truckin' for 50 years
fall for a scam like that?

There's a reason why Gulick is 100% o/o, ask yourself "why not place a company driver inside that truck?"

Do not see where they are 100 % O/O

    Company Drivers:

    • Start pay depending on experience
    • $12.00 for every dock bump
    • Lay over of $75.00 after 24 hours
    • Driver assist and driver unload pay
    • 90% no touch freight lumpers are company paid
    • Paid vacation after one year of service
    • .03 safety and performance bonus paid quarterly
    • Kaiser health insurance offered after 90 days of employment

I ran into one of their guys a few months back and I asked him about the company program and he said in the 3 months he had been working there, he had yet to see one company driver. Only company driver he ever saw was the owner who occasionally made a local pu or drop. That might just be on their website to make their customers think they have company trucks, who knows?

The volvos are not the big 700 series they are the small 600 series with a single bunk that is about 36 inches wide...try to get your fat arze in that bed my friend..this company use to be one of the best in the west, when they cared about safety and its drivers,, now they have tried to move up to the big boy status and dont care who they put on as long as they stay out and make money for the company... the pay is the same for all drivers a 80/20 split,,,I should have known better your right after this many years in the business but going on their past reputation I trusted they would be the same,, but no,,,they have become like the rest of the dont care put anyone behind the wheel companies we all know about. They charge enough to make sure you have to stay out forever if you want to make any money at all,, they have a huge turnover now,, but never did before...

you are mistaken sir,,, the bed measures 36 inches wide and it is very much available in the smaller single sleeprs and that sir is why it is so very very small.. you need to do your homework, and Im 69 not 70 years old...yet..
