Load up with fuel and fill the exhaust?
    Explain that one please.
If it isn't even trying to start, check the fuses by the batteries.
Also check the crank position sensor, rear of block and just pushes in.
    Any fault codes?

The original post sounds like a blown turbo.

Once you eliminated a fuel problem....

What codes are you getting? Turn the key on and hold down the engine override button and the check engine light will flash.

Code 41 and 42 are the cam and crank sensor.

The crank sensor is located on the bottom in front of the gear case near the flywheel area.

The cam sensor goes in sidewards behind the air compressor. It's held in place with a 13mm bolt.

If you are getting a code make sure the crank sensor is pushed in all the way so you have the proper air gap.

Another thing to check is the ECM hot wire at the batteries. Check the inline fuse and grab the wire and make sure it isn't about to break. Those crimps can act like bending metal back and forth to it's about to break and shut a truck down.

Found them both and on the 06 Mercedes motor their both on the back of the block and the cam sensor had to be removed first so I had clearance to remove the crank sensor... with both sensors out, I replaced them both..

    Problem solved.. :)

    Thanks... leftlanetruckin

Not a problem, having had mine since new in 2005, I have ran into a few teething troubles myself....

    Best of luck

do you have DDDL ore SD tool? Chec for starter parameters. If starter is KB - engine starts well, if not engine starts with power on pin #8 of 16 pin connector
