-
-
Yes .. and I am red/green color blind.. I can see stop lights and the colors just fine .. it shades of color I have a problem with .. I am pushing 50 and I have been driving since I was 16.. I was tested in the military back in the 80s and found out .. -
This really bites not knowing for sure one way or the other.. who would I need to contact to find out to get a test and if I could get a waiver or not ?
-
Check with a local Doctor that does DOT physicals. They should be able to answer your question.
-
I don't recall a color blindness test during the physical, but when I went down to the DMV, as part of my tests, they tested me for identifying unlabeled road signs as well as colors (in the viewer). So I suppose it was part of my CDL, only the color blindness test was performed by the DMV and not at the doctor's office.
