Climbed out of the truck 7 hours before the new baby came......wow.....That's dedication......That's the kind of story that gets passed down for years to come.

That is so cool. My daughter that was in the truck for 5 years with us, won't even check out the inside of my new truck. My youngest daughter age 31, wants to go so bad. So, with her, I fly her to the truck shows, and things I think she would just love. She likes taking naps in the truck when it is home. I have taken her to two local deliverys, and she is ready to get out in about an hour. Don't think she would do good on a three weeks away from home deal.

Those are good memories you will never forget; glad you got to go with him. Of course I think the traffic was a lot less and not as much of the hurry going on like it is now.

Our daughters 1st boy was about 4 and really wouldn't get too far away from mom; we worked out of town then so we weren't around him as much. Well we hit the road and on one trip home he was over to the house and it was naptime; him and grandpa slept out in the big rig; talk about melting bridges, that was all it took.

Three weeks out with you might work. Sounds like she doesn't like to be closed in all the time; nap is a short period of time, but forever....

I take my GF, soon to be fiancee (shhhh) with me sometimes. I can only carry one passenger at a time. I took out 11yo daughter on a short 70mi run last week and she had a blast, can't wait to go on a long ride. I keep dry erase markers on hand for writing quick notes on my window, well she found them and amused herself drawing on the passenger side window and writing notes to other trucks we passed. She left me a nice mural of a flower in the sun, and rain, with a rainbow above it and a worm hanging out below it. I still have it on the window.
