What I posted was how it was when I was leased with them as recently as April this yr.

Did you get a copy of the lease agreement? If not request one now. It details all of that.

My how things change in only a few months.

wow....thanx Gazoo. I really appreciate it. We were told that PrePass is required by a Landstar rep((or whatever you call them)). She never mentioned that it was voluntary. I don't appreciate them being dishonest with me.

    Again....thanx alot.:biggrin_25519:

    1. $2.50 per week is all that's taken out on my settlements. I get called into a scale house about once every three days.
    2. Saves on both fuel and time.
You can send it back in the envelope that it comes in and you won't be charged. It's best if all LS BCO's were to use it. With the safety rating being so great it helps in the long run in my opinion.

You can always sheild it if you don't want it to detect the meter and take your chances with the scale house.
Landstar tracks their trailers so if you're not pulling your own they know where you are at.

Seems like it's the norm when you talk to different people at LS, some say one thing and some another. Seems as profitable as they are that they would have better education amongst their employees.

Well today was interesting. Turned down a cheap load out of ft. worth to Omaha N.E..... Dispatch called to chew my ##### but got the wife instead. They found out not to p.o. my wife. She may be small but dynamite comes in small packages....Don't think dispatch will sit comfy for awhile .... then ls called to confirm that I'm there and all that crap. Well it took about 2 min before my phone exploded. Man where they pissed.... Something tells me that freight just died for me. O well looks like were on vacation is Weatherford for short time.
