Choptank Transport & TQL good companies to haul for

    Just had 2 experiences with 2 different companies that I think should be mentioned. Did a load for Choptank Transport last week. Their dispatch department did me right by finding me new load to get home. My daughter went into labor and I had to make it home as fast as possible. I called Choptank, told them what happened and where I was and they had me loaded within 3 hours.

    TQL always has lots of available loads and almost always has competitive rates. Both companies are good to deal with. I recommend.

    Just be careful with TQL and make SURE you get your rate conformation sent via an e-mail, as with ALL your brokers. But other than that they are pretty good so far.

    Anyone worked with Mode Transportation out of Dallas? I've heard they are decent company. Just accepted load with them.

    They have almost always beeten me out of detention and the rate is never compatible,, false statements are not a big deal with them.

    Are you serious? They didn't do you any favors. They just happened to have a load going where you call home. They didnt do anything special just for your situation. Do you think they called a customer and begged for a load going in your direction? NO! They probably had the load all day and you took it off their hands for a miserable rate. You did THEM a favor most likely.

    Dont even get me started on TQL. Fact: Worst "brokerage" that exists today. Bad business practices daily. Can they just roll over and die already?
