Condocruiser what im saying is PTSD involving the military and combat stress. I know PTSD comes from lots of things but when it comes to the VA and collecting compensation and disbo for it, should have a relation to direct combat.
For example people that never left the wire try to claimPTSD for seening dead bodies being off loaded from helicopters. I was the person loading the bodies into the helicopters and I was the person in combat trying to save the person's life..... believe me there are a lot of vets out there that clen ptsd for just that
denied employment bc im a vet who has ptsd

like welfare and unemployment there are people who abuse the system established to help the real needy
all vets cant be blamed for those abuses
shell shock or ptsd at least it is recognized today. Back in the corner at family parties when i was growing up was "Crazy Uncle Joe"
he sat in the corner talking to himself petting his cat. He was captured by Nazis first day in France for 2 years. I believe the goverment took care of him financially but he lived with family the rest of his lifeBig Don Thanks this. -
I know you are harmless in your post, but hard to believe a Vet is that slow on Federal regulations on employment.
The part I made bold is what I am questioning. Show me where that law exist in this situation. -

I think it was the doctor that was the villain here , not the carrier . If a physician determines someone is unqualified the carrier can't put them to work .CAXPT Thanks this.

I hear ya, They want to stick me with the PTSD title, and I refused out of fear. I dont want that to affect my future by any means. I must say though, after 5 deployments I see things in a whole new light.

I thought everyone knew about "at will employment" laws in many states. Sorry I'll explain better for the slow people, however, it's very easy to look up.Big Don Thanks this.

Pretty myopic view of life there.
