And the BS gets deeper

roadmedic, if you had ever had dealings with a mercer recruiter you would know the OP is full of it. there is no most likely to it. this is a company that has a corporate of culture of being straight up. and example this last settlement i got , i had a set amount that i pulled the load for, my settlement ended up 39 dollars higher than my load sheet said, couple of weeks before while i was off 12 days i got 62.00 added to my card, why ? i had bought tires on national account and had paid them off by deducting them off settlements over a 2 week period, and then 4 weeks later the 62.00 gets added back because mercer got a better price on them than what i paid.
honestly, i would have never known in either case, but they did and paid me the money. they also pay the ifta taxes, not just file them but actually pay, we are never charged back for them. BUT guess what if you end up with a credit, they apply a credit to next years tag, most outfits would just keep it.
so to think a mercer recruiter would speak to someone that way is ludicrous.FLATBED Thanks this. -
I thought he said 7 accidents

I call BS on the OP .. I talked to a Metcer recruiter just this week and was nice as can be to me and was helpful . I just can't see that conversation happening .. Unless it was brought on by a Snotty Driver . I got no iron in the fire don't work for mercer but I know a few guys on this board that do and I spoke first hand with a mercer recruiter and had a great experience ..
But I also don't have 7 - 8 tickets on my CSA either . -
I have had no dealings with Mercer.
I did not want to get into any confrontations with the OP. It was obvious to me that there was probably no contact with them. Mercer is an O/O company, not company drivers.
Any such application would have been tossed and the applicant would most likely have been told they did not qualify.
I cannot see any company employee doing this, but again, ANYTHING is possible. -
Secondly if this event did happen which I seriously have my doubts about and would definetly lay my money down in Vegas it's fabricated . But if it did .. You get back what you dish out no way the recruiter goes of the defensive as stated ... What does he have to gain by attacking a driver with one of the worst CSA scores in the history of trucking .. That would speak for its self you'd think .
My opinion just by the 10-15 minutes I spoke to Mercer they are a class act -
That does suck.I've never had any recruiters that did'nt give me respect.Sure many companies could'nt hire me for some reason or another and many even apologized.Trucking can be a very rude and disrespectful carreer because companies treat drivers like 3rd class citizens.Truck drivers or not,we need to be treated with respect and if someone says an uncalled for remark to me you bet your sweet ### they're going to hear about it.

I sincerely hope this isn't true, from both aspects.
