Okieboy, thanks for telling us what happened to you. I too know how the "trailer treasure hunt" goes, I've spent my time doing that. I also know just what you mean about not dispatching you on a load until the last possible minute. Sometimes I wonder if they do that stuff on purpose to see if it will cause drivers to quit, I don't know.
I do know that I tried my best to not let it get to me and things did get better. I've find out the longer that I'm here, the PP's and load info seem to come almost automatically when I send my macros. I asked my current FM about that and she told me that after a while the dispatchers know they don't have to worry about their drivers and the stuff seems to happen more seamlessly.
I have kept in contact with 2 other drivers from my orientation group and they have said it was the same for them. We all seem to be doing fine now.
Sorry it didn't work out for you and I wish you success with whatever you are doing now. -
peace........

My apologies to you gentlemen for some of my comments in this thread . We all have to realize each of us is an individual and we each have our own thoughts on whther we have a good job or a bad job. What's great for some is totally unacceptable for others.
My opinion agaist USX is due to Pat Quinn being a lying hypocrite ranting against speeders and trying to force speed limiters on all truckers while his USX drivers were speeding every chance they got .
The poor Safety Management rating came from a number of falsified logs being found during the audit . -

I notice a lot of ex-company drivers have all the same reasons for not hanging around, not fired(quit) or whatever "IT'S THE COMPANIES FAULT!!!" That amazes me to no end,Wasn't anything I did I was perfect. Oh yeah the "They use to be good, great, awesome company but now"(then, when)
BE SAFE!!!!

I've been seeing a lot of those small prostars. I hope I don't get one of those

Actually the FM's and load planners have no idea what your hours are like. Only safety looks at the logs. So you tell them you don't have the hours. They call the CSR to see if it can be picked up later. No big deal. Some people get all worked up over the slightest snag.
