Yeah, that'll make a difference from the impression I got. Most people don't get through because they don't disclose criminal records or they lie about something... Once they find out somebody lied, even if it's from that somebody, there is usually a bus ride back home. Good luck again though. It's a rough first few months but as long as you're not scared to work it pays off after that.

Hello everyone! I'm thinking about a career change and getting into trucking. I have been looking pretty hard at Central. I live in Indiana, can anyone tell me what home time might be like or how freight might be like in my state? Also does Central slip seat or are you assigned a truck?
Thanks and have a great day! -
Hey there kws6011, I will also be heading to SLC to start class myself on 8/20/12.

Hello Sam. When I was on the truck fleet I ran througb Indiana every now and again, but can't remember if I ever delivered there. If you live near I80 you should not have much trouble getting home. You are assigned a truck and it is only driven by you, unless you are a team or if you go on an extended leave (I think extended is more than a week) if you take the leave your truck will get assigned to someone else and you will get a diffrent truck. I dont have any documentation for this, just what I have heared.
Sam Hell Thanks this. -
Hey Bigg Bowler, I am suppose to leave on Saturday and will start on the 20th also. Look for the guy with the boise state shirt or hat on.

Hey Sam yea if you live near Indy or the chitown border there will be good freight to get you home and back out. We pu in Anderson at that Nestlé a lot and deliver to a cpl places south of Indy on a regular basis.
Sam Hell Thanks this.
