Push the range selector(dog) all the way down...

If you shifted into gear and released the clutch and didn't move...You have a tranny problem not a clutch problem.

Oh yea push the yellow&red knob in..... But your truck didn't stall???

I didn't know that the clutch is what I was shifting all this time. So when I press the pedal that's really the transmission I'm engaging? Huh...

I sugest bad splitter (if it is Volvo 12 st tranny, ore Fuller 13st/18st).
The mistake of this message is that there is no any info about truck, year, tranny, engine.... -
I know it sounds funny, but I had something similar happen recently on my old 2000 770. I pushed the clutch in and when I released it, the pedal came up but nothing happened. I could put it in and out of any gear I wanted, and the pedal was stuck solid at the top. I had to stomp 4 or 5 time quickly to shock it loose, before I could push it down again, then it worked fine
