Smaggs goes to Marten. My Experience with Marten Transport.

So Smaggs when I fill out the paperwork at orientation on Monday in Tucker GA, where should I write down your name for a referral?

 

I've seen the same thing at Knight, JCT, Pride, and RUAN. Part of it is the industry, part of it is a lot of the people attracted to truck driving are attracted to it for reasons that make them somewhat hard to get along with.

 

Please, elaborate on what those reasons are, if you don't mind.

 

Most would be complaining if they were a Taster In A Pie Factory....

The reason being that a lot of people that get into truck driving as a profession do so either because they can't or don't want to fit in socially. Ironically it's those with good social skills that tend to do the best in the industry.
