Marten Transport May Not be for you!

Maybe your expectations of how a person communicates online and mine are different. When you make posts with poor grammar and punctuation it says much about who and what kind of person you are. How do you expect people to understand you if they cant even comprehend what you are trying to say? It doent take much effort to read over your own post. Spell check goes a long way and is built in to your web browser. The rest depends on how lazy you are.

It is my opinion that how person a writes out their 'complaint' (Not to include mis-spellings) says much about what kind of person they are. Educational level, mental state, intelligence etc etc. If someone doesnt have the fortitude to proof read and correct their own post, then what kind of trucker are they? Are they competent enough to do a thorough job as required by most employers? Is that how they do their paperwork? What about Pre-Trips? Its like someone wearing a wife beater or their pants hanging off their butt to a job interview. 1st impression means everything.

Not trying to imply that the OP doesnt have a legitimate complaint. Only that maybe some more thought on how they portray them self should be given.

 

Heck yeah,.. takes me 2 months to get 5 days of home time.

 

Its 4 days off max if your otr, 1.5- 2 days off if on western fleet. Don't know about the other fleets. My complaint is about western regional getting less then 2 days off after 12 days on the road. For some reason they won't let us stay out 20, then take 4 off like otr can. The problem though with otr is that the miles are not as good as on the western.

 

I'm going to be on Florida Regional. Dispatched out of Tampa terminal. Not by choice, of course. Wanted to go OTR, but apparently with Marten there is no OTR out of Florida.

 

Hey grammer boy !! Check out your second paragraph and read it out loud......It is my opinion that how person a writes out their complaint....... Lets try to understand that again..... It is my opinion how person a writes out their complaint.....naw,,, I still dont get it .....Maybe if I slow down and read it slower..OK It is my opinon that how person a writes out their complaint.... how person a writes ??? check yourself ....

 

Thats funny, because thats exactly what I picture someone with poor grammar looks like.

Typing is considered the same as a written expression of someone's words.

If you like for people to think of you as a typical uneducated, foul smelling, ill mannered trucker,.. well.
Me,.. I like to hold myself to a higher standard. Maybe thats why it bothers me when people just type out anything with poor punctuation and bad grammar.

Think the grammar people need to go read Mastertect's thread called, "TTR and Spelling."

 

@ Hurst , I agree but if your gonna blast somebody because of their writing skills, you should make sure your blast isn't " in poor grammer either"
