    Great company for rookies in my opinion!!! They are very safety conscious which is a good thing for inexperienced drivers. A lot of drivers don't like Stevens because of what they consider excessive 'hand holding', but I personally preferred knowing that they were watching out for me and my loads. I don't know for sure that they are currently hiring out of NYC, but we do move a lot of freight in and out of New York, somostly likely they are.

    I applied to them earlier today hopefully i hear from em soon and also hope they dont give me the "we cant hire you because you were terminated from your last job" another company said to me yesterday i couldnt belive she said that not knowing why but watever hope i get to join Stevens
