blocking fuel islands/inconsiderate drivers

I usually park on the island furthest away when I go into shower and eat dinner. Nobody wants to walk that far anyway.

 

i just want to know if you are saving lives with your videos?

 

In todays age where most people have either an iphone, or smart phone, the cameras come in handy when you see this,, then call thier company and say, can i send you a picture of what tk #### is doing right now on the fuel island, and it doesn't involve them fueling.
It's amazing how fst a truck will move off the fuel isalnd, once the home office has a picture of it sitting there wasting time, for no reason.

 

I do my dishes and shower and the end island, no one cares about looking that way.

 

my wife thinks it is gross i wash my tupperware in the shower but when i asked her where i should wash it she was at a loss
maybe beside the guy showering in the bathroom sink

being a training co we have our fair share of drivers that might not be ready for prime time
last night i went over to give a couple books to one of our drivers and he rolled down the window and it was overpowering
said he just started on his own last week. I dont think he could have got smelling that bad in just a week. I would be willing to let him leave
his truck at the fuel island if he would just shower

 

Free or not I have to shower everyday, I would not be able to go without being clean and I am not a clean nut just cannot stand to be not taking a wash daily.

When I was in the military sometimes it was a long distance between showers, I always found a way to at least wash up.

 

So did you call the company and complain? if not why not?
If we don't police ourselves, who will?

 

Here is what I like to do, where it is safe to do so, the ones blocking an entrance/exit or parked in the middle of the lot, I will get in my side box get into my tool box and get out one brick of Black Cat firecrackers and as I am pulling out or squeezing out of the mess they created I will lite the fuse and toss it out hopefully towards the drivers side of the sleeper area, (head area) Believe me you will never see a truck bounce and jump like that!! And those that are in an unsafe area to throw a lit fuse out, I pull as close as I can to there truck and and hang on the air horn all while pumping the breaks, the reaction is about as explosive as the brick of firecrackers. I know they may never know why the idiot did something like that, but the satisfaction it gives me is great!! I can not understand how a driver can pull in and shut down in an area where they know without a doubt in there mind that the driver beside them or in front of them will ever get out and try to justify it with, "well where the hell did you expect me to park". Everday I see drivers out here who think the world owes them something or that everyone should devote every second of the day into making sure everything falls into place for them. The people behind the counter have nothing to do with the fact that your fuel card didnt work, or your advance didnt go thru, or your brand of smokes is out so there is no reason to jump down there throat and throw the rest of your stuff across the counter cursing and swearing and them storm out the door slamming and kicking things around. There is no one whose job it is or who are obligated to make sure you have everything you want, need or desire and cater just to you, if it dont work or there out of it you need to say thank you and walk quietly out the door and try again on down the road, we dont need any more attention drawn to ourselves by acting like a spoiled baby.

 

A can of silly string will send a message without waking up the innocent.

 

Whenever I use the bathroom at a TS, I can't help but notice those that walk away from the urinal, or stall only to walk past the sink without washing their hands. Then of course, they go straight to the coffee and make a cup. It drives me insane.
