I hope this fits this forum! I thought it would be G-R-E-A-T for 4 wheelers to read, it teaches you a little about what truckers go through!

I know I didn't know many things until I worked around a trucking company so here ya guy, you have officially been told!

Thanks LogsRus for the input and that dose help a lot to educate every motorist out there in todays society. No one thinks untill someone gets hurt or worse and that includes road rage that still happens and its too late to change. We cant change the world....but we can show our part in traffic laws by sharing the road etc and everyone could go home or destinations without a hitch:biggrin_25519:

Something he didn't say is that, at least in our province, it is ILLEGAL to speed up when someone attempts to pass you and I've seen it happen many, many, many times. I wish police would get THEM and the ones who zoom down the shoulders to pass stopped traffic and the ones who zip around to get ONE CAR further adhead in bumper to bumper traffic. Ugh!!! The things some people do are just unbelievable.

I took a look at the traffic act in Alberta, and discovered a lot of laws that aren't ever enforced. Traffic moves really well when people are all driving "properly" (i.e. driving in the right lane, not obstructing the flow of traffic), but all it takes is one driver out of place to mess everything up. I've learned not to get frustrated with them; it's really a matter of getting used to the fact that people in 4 wheelers are for the most part ignorant of not only how a truck behaves but also of what the laws are with respect to driving. Driver training seems to leave so many things out.

The other day I got cut off (car blew a stop sign in order to get in front of me), and within 10 seconds I saw a cop coming the other way. He was just far enough away to miss seeing what happened. Had he been 5 seconds further ahead of where I saw him, he probably would have made my day. I love seeing those drivers get pulled over. Unfortunately, even if the guy got caught, he still would have no idea that he had just cheated death.

Years ago a comedian named gallager (sp) had a good idea. Everyone carry a dart gun that shoots those darts with the suction cups. Every car that accumalates 3 or more on the back of their car from other drivers when a cop sees them pulls them over and gives them a ticket for being stupid.:mtongue:

Can I use the suction cup theory for any driver who uses a "lousy" exscuse for his log violation? Or maybe for every driver that says yes I log what I am actually doing, only for me to point out no you don't.
or for every exscuse from my wife burned my logs up because she was mad and that's why I could not turn them in for 45 days?

Yeah, can I use this method????????? :biggrin_25523: To funny it would be!

Riding with me will not give you a taste of logging! Rolling solo and balancing the books will!
