I notice you're a student. One thing you must be able to do, is use maps, find out where places are. Not being sarcastic, but you do have the internet since you're posting here. I'm just saying, learn to investigate things.

I can see where the distance could be a problem. I wished there was a good one close to where I go. I'm a regional driver, mainly stay in the eastern half of Kansas, and go just a little inside of the surrounding states. Used to be a good one in Oak Grove, MO, however learned that guy is no longer running it, and the current one is nothing but hack.

the most popular CB radio forum on the internet can be found at cbradiotalk.com i am a member there and so are a few other drivers. you ill find tons more of information on radios and things of that nature on that site. dont get me wrong, you are most welcome here. but for the information you are searching, you can find it and tons more on that site. i hope the mods here dont mind me posting that link.

 

I thought there was a radio shop in Tampa off I-75 and MLK Jr ave,............. I'm not spelling that name thank you
to add what you've been told take a road trip up I-75 to exit 329 ( Wildwood ) turn left to the chrome shop it's behind it. Another good one is a little further north at exit 358, called The 10-4 CB Store, always treated me right, I bought 2 radios and 2 antennas from them over the last 8 years
