    Thanks Vin!

Did you ask him about the bumper and foothold? Would not be cool if you got blamed for it.

I didn't bother to ask him about it because I knew he would lie. He was one of those people who have faked their way through 60 years of life.

Evening, all! I'm sitting in a hotel room in Greensburg IN for the night. Truck is in the shop. Last time I looked at it, they had the entire console and passenger seat out of the thing. They even paid me $25 to drive to Indy to get a part for it. Cool. Breakdown pay, motel paid for and paid to go get parts. The best part... tv and internet courtesy of the hotel. First thing I did was take a shower just because I could!!!!! Had a bite to eat and now chillin' like a villian.

    Congrats on the hire, Outlaw.

Congrats to you too RC, sometimes just laying around the motel makes everything better for a few minutes. I really hope things start to come around for you soon, because I know you're are giving it your best when the less diligent would have already quit and started whining. We've heard enough of that lately!

We are finally pointed in the homeward direction. We went all day yesterday without so much as a peep out of dispatch, so I reminded them first thing this morning while we were in North Little Rock that we would like to make it home by tomorrow morning. Much to our surprise, there was a team just up the road 72 miles in Palestine, AR that was willing to swap loads with us. Our new load had one stop in Memphis today and finals in Livonia, MI tomorrow at 0800. Its about a 3.5 hour drive from there to home, so we're looking at tomorrow afternoon.

We are already thinking about shortening our HT this time around, waiting until Wednesday morning next week to leave probably isn't the smartest thing for us to do financially with the week we just had...

Anyways, its almost my turn to drive.

    Be safe, all.

    RebelChick Thanks this.

Hey guys, hope everything is looking up for everyone! Today makes 7 days I've been stuck in a hotel in Dallas. My trainer said he would understand if I wanted to change trainers but I'm thinking I've waited it out this long, if I call training dept and ask for a new trainer today, my current trainers truck will prob come out the shop and I will be still stuck waiting on a new trainer... Idk :(
i got hired on the July 20th... I should have been done with training but yet i still got 2 weeks to go once I get moving again.

Hang in there Dareallyst, your almost done. RC, sounds like you made out pretty good given the circumstances. Thanks Jeremy.

I was able to log 4.75 hours BTW today. Dollar General account is really nice. Get miles and a moderate workout LOL. Need 150 hours to upgrade. Hope I can get some runs to NH to accumulate some hours. Hope everyone is good. Have a great weekend.

What you need is rush hour traffic on the beltway in Washington DC. You will get to 150 hours in no time

But NO MILES. That area is worse than NYC. Sitting in Colton resetting. We have benn running hars since HT. Averaging a little over 5K per week. I hope this keeps up.

Miles do not mean a thing to a trainee. It is all about the hours.
