And don't tighten that 1st strap tight until you're done spreading the tarps. You want it loose enough to be able to get a good grip on it while you attempt a controlled fall. They're notorious for over loading at the mill so that's another good reason to wait to tarp. They have a long driveway but they don't want drivers to park on it.

Well I made it to Right Pointe in DeKalb Il. From the looks of the place from Google and what I can see....it should be real interesting in the morning. I have a 8' load of fiber board...Waiting for the fantasy football draft to start at 10:30 est. Hope everyone has a good week.

Went to us steel tin mill heading to salisbury nc. -
went there about 10 times, i went to the back only once. unloaded in the front twice, which is a real pain in the butt to back out of when the place is busy. all the other times were unloaded across the street, and reloaded there every time.

Need some advice from you guys. I have already been approved through maverick for their TCD, and I just got my CDL. Graduate DDA in Little Rock tomorrow. But...something has come up. My ex is giving me a hard time over our custody agreement with our six year old daughter, and is threatening to take me to court as soon as I go OTR, knowing that I can't deal with this crap once I get on the road. We've been divorced for two and a half years, and I have always tried my best to make things work. So anyway, I called Adam in recruiting today and told him my situation and that I needed to stay local ffor now, but that Maverick has always been my number one choice and as soon as I can get this worked out I will be coming back. He said he understood and there was no problem. Now, my question is, anyone know of any good local freight or tanker (oil/gas fields) jobs here in central Arkansas that will hire a newbie? I don't just need to drive, but I need to make good money. I have a flawless military record, and am a very hard worker. Con-Way is not hiring, already talked to them today. Sucks this came up at the last minute, as Adam had already assured me I'd be in orientation on Sunday. At least she (the ex) gave me a heads up though, right? Any information or guidance or advice you guys could provide would really help. I WILL be a Maverick, just not as soon as I had hoped. Thanks.
