Haven't been by the Atlanta TA for quite some time (lucky me). I keep hearing rumours that it has been shut down. Some people are telling me that they cheated on taxes; others say the health department shut it down.
Man I hate that place. If it is closed, I'd say great, but that means even less parking for trucks in Atlanta. And if you think the low-lifes that hung around that TA were bad, just imagine the low-lifes that will start hanging around an old, nasty, shut-down TA!!!
TA in Atlanta closed?

I was only over the the TA in Atlanta a few times working towing trucks out of there and back home to Alabama.. That place scared me and made me lock all the tool boxes unless I was Physically in there getting stuff...
Good luck -
The TA in Atlanta was bad but, if you didnt ask for the crack ###### they never would mess with you. I park my tank at the tankwash right down the street from the old TA. Haven't had no problems. FYI they are going to put a Flying J in place of the old TA. This is what I was told Friday by the manager of Blue Beacon....Just my thoughts.

Thx for the info. I was pretty sure it was closed. I'll definately check it out when/if it becomes a FJ.
I can just imagine the Flying J people thinking, "We'll show those stupid TA guys how to do a truckstop." Yeah.......Well I say good luck to them. -
