I don't know about you guys messing with the Russians. Mostly they are Russian mafia and if you think the Italian mafia was bad, you better get a copy of your life, 'cuz when the Russian got you in sight, it's not just you they will go after, but also your family and friends. Believe me, I'm from Europe and know how they operate. They are just as bad as the Chinese triads...if not worse. And guys, just a quick tip...I don't care what they will tell you...DO NOT TRUST the Russian or any Eastern European outfit - NEVER !

 

So your philosophy is everyone from Russia is part of the mafia? There are good & bad from every nation. I doubt the Russian "mafia" is going to waste time running a time consuming pain in the ### trucking company. If they were part of the mafia they probably wouldn't want to grab attention from the IRS and/or Labor board for not paying employees.

 

got pulled into a scalehouse in northern ca,,was told to pull around back and park and wait for an officer...did that...got out walked to the back of trailer....officer was talking to two russian men,,,they said we no need log book we russian,,,the officer let them go....i looked at the officer and he said to me....WHAT...THEN WALKED INTO THE SCALE HOUSE.......whats that all about...

 

If you had read my post carefully enough, you would have noticed that I used the word "MOSTLY". The Russian mafia is wasting time on much more time consuming "enterprises" to get their way. If you don't know what you're talking about, because you haven't had your experiences yet, please sit down and watch the road. There is a reason why you are told in Europe to NEVER stop for anything when in Eastern Europe, unless you have to deliver there. For you to find out what the Russians are really all about, start by getting yourself a Russian mail order bride and see how "happy" you will be with her. If she hasn't emptied your wallet and bank account in 1 week, you got lucky. You don't know Russians - I do. I just hope for you, you never meet a gang of Russian thugs on your way. They will kill you in a heartbeat to get your truck, trailer, and load, if you don't give it up on your own free will. Do Russians care about the IRS here????? Heck NO! Do they care about the labor board here? Heck NO! They got enough money hoarded in Russia to wipe any company they have in the USA off the map in no time, to hide/disguise their identity, and to "pay off" certain individuals so they'll keep quiet. And if those individuals are too bothersome, they might as well disappear. BTW, the Russian mafia doesn't just include Russians, but also Albanians, Georgians, Croatians...
So next time you open your mouth to make a silly remark that didn't reflect on what was actually said, R*E*##D the comment carefully and thoroughly. You make a fool of yourself when you misinterpret what was actually said. I've been to Russia, Poland, Czech Republic, Albania, Ukraine, and Belarus...I had my experiences with those folks, which weren't pleasant at all. I'm just glad I lived thru it to tell about it. Read jubajajo1's comment, I don't think he lied. That's how MOST of the Russians operate...they don't care!

 

BTW...my philosophy is "live and let live". Watch some docus about the Russian mafia, maybe that'll open your eyes.
