    Hi Desert Ca

Take out the center top dash panel the one with all you diff lock and 5th quell lock switches and look strait down on top of the a/c box it is directly on top opt is squarish round with three screws holding it down and asmall square plug on one side pull it off and switch it to see if it is working I hqve also seen a few that the door inside broke off it can be fixed with the dash in place bit a real bear so hopefully its just the actuator you can tie the door to where ever you want it to blow with a ziptie until you get parts

    Turbo55 Thanks this.

took off all dash panels, finally found it on the left side, theres a drum inside there with slots in it. a square stem sticking out that goes thru the controller. Cause of the problem? A screw fell into the defrost vent and was jammed against the drum. Along with a lot of other debris. It'll blow your hat off now.
