when i meant time. i meant the day. cuz that's how long it will take you to do what you need to do. after your 30 day wait period for that latter saying you can.

you pay 10 dollars. submit your fingerprints. wait for the letter. then go back. get the paper you need. then go to courthouse to file and get rest of papers tow which you hand off a copy to each place your told to go to. court gets one copy. prosecuting attorney gets one copy. police get a copy. jail gets a copy. bachground gets a copy. and you keep a copy. wait 30 days. submit fingerprints and 10 dollars for a new check. BINGO. your in the clear.

misdemeanors can be erased after 7 years.

duis are 10 years from last dui.

your background is tied to the fbi database i beleive. i'd think there would be a statute of limitations imposed by the guvt.

Not moose but I am wit Central. I spent almost all of last week running around Pennsylvania (close to NYC a few times) but it's hard to say where you'll be starting out because we go everywhere unless you're on a dedicated fleet. Even some of those run coast to coast. I think the only states I haven't been in are Montana and Oregon. Still a newly though, been driving 2 months and still digging it!

I believe DUI do go away.. After 77 years

Statute of limitations applies to how long after the commission of a crime DoJ has to bring charges.

I've been through NYC many of times going out to long island but have never been to a pick up or delivery in NYC. We also go to NJ quite often within a eye shot of NYC. NYC runs used to be optional for company drivers but I don't know if it's still that way. Of coarse the lease drivers can just turn those loads down if they wish. The biggest headache I've had in NYC is the traffic at the GW bridge after that it's not much worse that Chicago. The last few times I've been up there I just timed myself to hit it at 2 or 3 in the morning, then it's no problem. Oh yeah the cross Bronx sucks ### too at about anytime during the day with all the construction and "got to get there first" drivers.. Yes we run elogs and to run all your appliances you may need to idle some but not often. Everything I have on my truck runs on 12 vlt so I don't even have an inverter, never needed it..

Sam I have a misdemeanor, didn't effect me at all. Just tell them about it. You can drive if you have a DUI just has to be several years old. My misdemeanor was juvenile but it's on my record still. The security guy told us we can work just have to be upfront about it.
