If you want a truck driver to park his rig someplace, just put up a NO PARKING sign and he or she will be sure to park there.
NewNashGuy, crb and driverdriver Thank this. -
from what I can tell if you are in a truck no parking does not apply to you. at least it looks that way to me because i see trucks parked in no parking ares every day!

Free parking is expensive to provide. We will be seeing less and less of it IMHO.Big Don Thanks this. -
Considering it's at a customer, the best answer is who knows what they intended. In fact, the whole area was most likely supposed to be no parking originally then they decided to allow it later so they probably don't care.

Im parked in front of one now. LOL -
I once parked in 8 handicaped spots at once and had no problem.
Did i mention it was when delivering rebar to a water park in a snow storm.
But back to the op. It varies when and where. Local laws and enforcement can be part of it. Site security can be another issue. Are you parking there for 5 minutes or for your 10 hour break? Too many different things to consider to give a one size fits all answer.Big Don Thanks this. -
That sign means a LEO can interperet it whichever way he pleases.xlsdraw Thanks this.
