If Jordan turns out anything like you Or your father, I see you all being there for a lot more years together. That's one hard working family....tho I don't want to be anywhere near when you try to talk dad into retiring.

When he retires we're moving him straight to the old folks home and pulling his license.

Mom already came up with the plan to help my dad into retirement. Let's just say it involves a rope around an ankle, a boat anchor, and a trip on the Mississippi.

I pulled a scaffolding load once out of Texas.... Haven't done another one since then. Mine picked up at a job site, so it wasn't as nicely stacked as yours. But even still, I won't mess with hauling it again.

Yep, I used all 12 4" winches and 7 2" ratchets and they still moved around. They had no way to band them together :(

To be honest tho Jordan, you got a pretty good setup there. You get to work with your family and dispatch all day. And when the job (or the family) drives you crazy, you can grab a truck and trailer and leave it all behind for a day or two.

That would be a dream job for me I know.

    SCHEUERLE trailer section.

    Over-secured? 6 x 3/8" chains, plus 2 x 4" straps for 27,000 lbs.

Not when I met this at midnight on a moonless night in the mountains... on a bridge.

The other side would have resulted in a lot less "pucker-factor".

    2012-08-15_00-46-40_398.jpg

Managed to weave 11' wide load through 13' opening without touching (or hitting the pickup driver... he was shaken and stirred, but otherwise fine). Although they certainly knew I was there.
