Hello, I am a female who just graduated from CDL school. I have my hazmat and am interested in Schneider Trucking. I would like to know if anyone has any experience with them. How long are you in the introduction classes and training period ? I was told they give you a road test right after the classroom to test your driving skills in mountain areas. I am interested in team driving to start off with. If anyone can offer some advice on a good company for a female rookie to start with please let me know. I am in New Jersey. My instructor said put in applications with all of them because it takes a while to get a response with some of them. I would like to have my training period with the trucking company close to home if possible. Thanks for your help.
How hard is it to get in Schneider Trucking????

Sni is a good place to work. Training was only a week in the classroom. Then you go out for a week with a te ( training engineer ) . Then back to sni for a final road test and thats it. Pretty easy. I do drive team. But i wouldnt EVER do it with someone i dont know. But up to you.

If you call them back after you put an in application, you get an answer right away. I got hired by every single company I applied to this way.

I put in an ap with SNL and got an email they had tried to call me several times. Looked at my phone and had no missed calls. Kept getting the message so I tried calling. Left a dozen messages and never a call, so I went with another company.
Have heard good and bad. Was in orientation with a few ex-Schneider drivers who said they were crap, and read a lot on this forum they are a good company. All the new drivers I have talked to on the road seem OK with them.
For a starter they are as good or as bad as any company.
They do have a lot of terminals with could be a plus. -
