That's just it, it will never die.

Give it plenty of time, someone else will start another complaint thread about noisy reefers, noisy trucks and noisy APU's.

Just like with fog lights, brights to flash over, jakes in the parking lot, bobtails parking in long spots, stayin' at the fuel island too long, the list goes on and on.

 

5 years from now, some new poster will dig it up again.

Last night, I was in SLC...cool weather, nice breeze, so I shut the truck off and opened the windows. Later in the evening, a dude parked next to me....of course, I was the only truck in the area so he HAD to park right next to me. Kept me up all night, just kept on ripping one fart after another. #### near suffocated in my truck.

 

Shhhh, do not mention the other thread. I started high jacking it talking about ice cream

On the steelsoldiers.com board there's some mechanism that works when the poster enters the title to the new thread. Once the title is entered and the poster puts the cursor in the text field, the BBS searches all the bazillion topics and displays the similar ones with advice to re-use a thread and not start a new one of the same topic. It has helped.

 

Can't sleep, considering turning my own reefer off...
