smith transport out of roaring springs

Not to mention if he was in that bad of shape that he had to be hospitalized for 5 days, how did he manage to drive the truck back? There is no way I'd let my company leave me sit at a rest area for 2 days, especially if I was only a couple hundred miles from the terminal.

 

Smith isn't a bad company. Decent trucks, decent starting pay I've heard.

 

I see them everywhere I go and I run northeast, down into NC and out to Michigan and Indiana.

 

i worked for smith back in 2007 i had really not to many complaints they took care of me really well . but depends on your dispatcher normally only 300-400 mile trips plus dead head not bed but not bad. i was home every wknd for at least 34 hrs. the shop sucks horribly they let me sit in erie pa sleep in heat when it was 90 out so i was at a ta and had a hotel on truck stop property so i got a room and if your ever there for a pm omg you will be there for long time matter what there for and they wont fix things you write up . other then shop i say good company. as far as his story i dont know about that .

 

That truck stop is like sitting in a giant steaming soup bowl in the summer.
